On August 25, 2025, the Bloomberg Student Center opened its doors, and opened up new possibilities for students to socialize, connect, create, and relax. But this is more than a building. It’s a place designed for connection, creativity, and community. An invitation to all Blue Jays to find their people and find their place.
See the Student CenterMeet with friends, enjoy a meal, hang out in the lounges—the Student Center is a place to connect with others.
Whether hosting a podcast, practicing an instrument, painting a canvas, or building a set, this will be a place where innovation and creativity come alive.
The Creative Media Center. The Black Box Theater. The Food Hall. Students will find opportunities to engage at every turn.
Consider the Student Center the living room of the university. Students can step away from their studies, relax, and unwind with peers.
Spanning four floors, this inviting, light-filled space offers students a variety of comfortable seating areas and the opportunity to connect with other students.
The heartbeat of the Bloomberg Student Center, a space for student organizations to connect and collaborate. LEED staff and some of the CDI staff will have offices in this area too.
A culinary haven and vibrant destination in the Hopkins Student Center featuring global flavors and communal dining.

Large, flexible event spaces featuring warm tones, carpet floors, and blackout shades.
An open, light-filled eatery with patio, lounge, and bar to serve as a social hub for students.
It includes the outdoor extension of the seating in Ralph's Marketplace, which is on the Terrace next to the entryway to the Theater. Student tabling can also take place here.
